It is the eve of the world cup final and billions of people are in the sea of anxiety. Will this be the one destined to be the glory of Indian cricket? I don't know and don't want to know. I am afraid too much. It is not the first time I have kept my fingers crossed. I still remember 2003's world cup final. I know how fragile Indian bowling line up is.
India is a country where the sole driving force lies in its emotion. This is why we do wonders, we can turn every single match on its head, we can create history, but when it comes to our bowling side, they seem helpless. Couple of bad overs for them, make their heart dead, whole side looks like living corpses, gallery becomes graveyard. Nevertheless, I am optimistic. Experts won't count this team as one of the greatest Indian sides. But, my intuition says, "is it destined?" if it is then, I will be happy. Because, Indians were always the one who deserved it more, more specifically Sachin. Me and most probably none of his fans can realize how desperate he is for it, the only achievement he haunted for so long. He delivered tremendously in every single world cup, but it was always destiny who was ruthless to him. I am pretty sure that tomorrow, it will be the god of cricket who will write his own destiny and glory will be ours and only ours.
To the Indian team, my message will be "Fight for your country, fight for our glory"
Extremely well written Bhuban !!! Too good...Hope India keeps up to your message...India needs to do it for Sachin !!!
