Hi all,
For the last few days, something different is happening in India, Common People have started raising their voice against corruption, and the one who motivated all of us the most is named Anna Hazare. It is redundant to explain who he is and what is his lakshya.
This blog is not about whether Jan Lokpal Bill will remove the corruption or not, how member of an independent body will be selected and be kept uncorrupted and whether it is advisable to allow un-elected to be given more power that elected. This post is about the voice that raise in our campus, IIT Bombay campus in the evening of April 8,2011.
Personally, I would love not to see ourselves protesting like this in our own campus. But, we are compelled by the circumstances. We have kept our anger suppressed for long, we have talked about the corruption "who are the culprits" and all, enough in our mess, in our mail boxes, now the time has come to speak, to raise a Voice Against Corruption. No doubt the path is dictated by Shri Anna Hazare, his initiative has given us the platform to manifest our demands, but the actual agitation comes in our mind by observing the intentional negligence of Government on the issue of corruption. They are least bothered about the questions being asked to them.
Hence, whatever is happening in India, was required. The following are some video footage i captured in the camera, hope this would add enough support to the group of people in India who supports or wants to support "India Against Corruption (IAC)"
Very good article.

ReplyDeleteCan you able to remove corruption? Without controlling your pleasurable desires(Pornography, adultery, drug, wine,......or any kind of suppression or addiction). What about ego which is more powerful that these attractive desires? I think, practice of austerity will remove all problems of the world.
